Deflection Never Solves Anything
It really doesn’t . As I’ve observed politicos in action, the increasing awareness I have that some pols deflect, the more it drives me nuts.
How can we stand for a Mayor of NYC that will be on front lines of a climate change march , but not stand with the family of a NYPD Officer who now is in a medically-induced coma in Brooklyn following what news reports first deemed a ‘police-involved’ shooting. How can America stand for a Mayor of NYC, Bill de Blasio, that will be first to comment on a horrific mass shooting, yet take a back seat to another lawless thug harming a cop? And yet, he is the one that wants to heal community -law enforcement relations .
Mayor de Blasio will be long gone by the time Rikers is closed, but that will be a huge imprint on his legacy as the mayor of the crossroads of the world! What an imprint huh?
We shouldn’t stand for it, yet we just do. And beyond ignoring , it’s a deflecting tactic de Blasio has going on. By not focusing inwardly on his own city, lawlessness grows and there seems to be no effort from Mr. NYCMAYOR to take ANY responsibility for his policies failing and ruining this beautiful city one day at a time.
He is not the only one deflecting, let’s look at Rep. Adam and Schiff and Jerrold Nadler. They claim the Trump DOJ is not independent of President Trump himself. Did they forget under Obama, Loretta Lynch and Holder and even John Kerry were all tied under Obama’s watch? I guess so! Yet, because Trump is investigating wrongdoing by the holy roller, can-do-no-wrong Dems (please Media, give us a break!), Barr is now a supposed lapdog for Trump. Keep putting the finger on these crooks on the Left, POTUS, it’s why you were elected!
That leads me to President Donald Trump himself. Is he deflecting? Some would argue he throws out distractions like proposing to host G7 at Trump Doral. But, you know what people are forgetting? He’s given thousands of pages to the Special Counsel. He’s released the transcript with Ukraine. Yet the Dems it appears won’t release one line of any closed door testimony.
So, really, who are the big deflectors at this very moment?
How about you? Do you find you deflect from taking responsibility for your actions? Maybe the examples I have laid out will inspire you to look inward more, suck it up and OWN your own lives and actions you make. Take credit for your success, take it on the chin if something you were tasked with fails and most importantly don’t deflect!
