We Can’t Rake Leaves Now?

Ok, stop it. Just stop it! Seriously! An article today published in USA Today scolds us for raking leaves ! And why? According to Ryan W. Miller, it will help the environment .

He says ‘Although people often rake fallen leaves and send them to a landfill to prevent their lawns from being smothered and to make yards look better, in most cases, you’re fine not moving them.’ Here is the problem Ryan, in the fall there is something known as wind. That wind could blow the leaves onto the sidewalk making it a FALL RISK in the middle of fall.

Maybe Ryan hasn’t been fined or fallen on a group of leaves that are strewn about on the sidewalk which a resident is responsible for maintaining, My grandmother fell on a patch of leaves in 2007, causing her hip replacement and a lot of rehab. We SHOULD RAKE THE LEAVES and put them in bags for sanitation that we the taxpayer pay for. It’s best way to eliminate a safety hazard of wet leaves.

Also, it’s a great chore for kids to be part of and learn how to take care of their property and environment around them.

Citing David Mizejewski, a naturalist at the National Wildlife, Miller also argues, ‘If you do remove your leaves, the best thing to do is cut them up and drop them in a plant or flower bed or another part of your lawn .”

Does anyone have time for cutting up leaves? Maybe you do. For more on this, read the full article below!

This article caps off a bizarre week of news regarding environmental activists. Have you been following? Greta Thunberg, the 16 year old who journeyed to the UN in the name of climate change is a possible Nobel Peace prize winner after her dramatic plea to the United Nations General Assembly. Well, great, except nowhere is there a kudos to Trump as a Nobel Peace Prize nominee for subduing NOKO and hopefully Iran down the road. No mention of it!

Yet, Thunberg, who has been propped up now by the Left in my opinion , is in consideration for scolding the UN for something she may not entirely know about.

Not to be outdone, AOC’s Thursday night Townhall was trolled by a member of the bizarro Lyndon LaRouche PAC . Donning an ‘eat the children’ shirt, a woman kept yelling at AOC that we have to #eatthebabies. While many thought AOC should have acted differently with this stunt, there is someone out there actually saying eat flesh to protect our environment!

The LaRouche PAC apparently did their research because a Swedish professor had suggested in a conference about Gastroenterology part of the climate crisis solution could be eating dead human flesh.

The Epoch Times was first to report on this, ‘in a talk titled “Can You Imagine Eating Human Flesh?”, behavioral scientist and marketing strategist Magnus Soderlund from the Stockholm School of Economics argued for the breaking down of ancient taboos against desecrating the human corpse and eating human flesh.’

These three happenings and opinions and ideas in consecutive weeks is making the environmental activism go from real gripes to insane ideas. Which in turn is making THIS generation insane!

When you skipped school back in the good ol’ days to protest, you probably got written up by a truant Officer. Now you are hailed as a hero on the Canyon of Heroes if you strike from school to protest unfounded ideas of the world ending in 12 years! Pretty wild.

Don’t get me wrong, we should do all we can to protect the environment, but there are better ways.

I say go ahead and rake the leaves. Stay in school. Love the environment without eating dead human flesh. We can get through this together! Just, don’t eat the babies!
